Community Notice: Fire Training Exercise Alert

The Prince George Airport Authority will conduct live fire training today, Tuesday, September 15, from approximately 8:30 a.m. to noon.

During the exercise, members of the community may see smoke and flames in the vicinity of the airport. This is part of a training exercise for YXS emergency response personnel and is not a cause for concern.

This additional training opportunity was confirmed on short notice, and we are sharing this notice as soon as possible.

Live fire exercises help our team maintain the skills and readiness needed to respond safely and effectively in an airport emergency.
