Altitude Restaurant + Lounge Opens at the Prince George Airport
New main-terminal restaurant marks the next phase of Noir Food Services food and beverage offerings at YXS.
Prince George, B.C. – The Prince George Airport Authority (PGAA) is pleased to announce that Altitude Restaurant + Lounge is officially open at Prince George Airport (YXS), bringing full-service dining back to the airport’s main terminal.
Operated by Noir Food Services Ltd., Altitude Restaurant + Lounge will offer passengers, airport employees and community members a welcoming place to dine and gather before security. The restaurant complements Fly Away Café, which opened in the Departures Lounge in May 2025 as the first phase of Noir Food Services food and beverage operations at YXS.
“We know how important a full-service restaurant is to the overall airport experience, and we’re incredibly pleased to see Altitude ready to welcome its first guests,” said Daphne Shelton, Director of Commercial Development, Prince George Airport Authority. “Whether you’re beginning a journey, meeting someone arriving at YXS, working at the airport or simply looking for a place to enjoy a meal, Altitude brings an important amenity back to our terminal and creates another welcoming space for our community.”
Altitude will feature a diverse menu designed to serve travellers throughout the day, with breakfast selections, casual favourites, salads, starters and heartier entrées, along with vegetarian and gluten-free options. The lounge will offer a selection of beer, wine, cocktails, mocktails and other beverages.

The opening of Altitude completes Noir Food Services initial rollout of food and beverage services at Prince George Airport. Noir Food Services was selected by PGAA in 2025 following a competitive process, with the company bringing experience operating restaurants, bars and catering services in communities throughout British Columbia.
Altitude Restaurant + Lounge is located in the main terminal before the passenger security screening checkpoint and will be accessible to both travellers and the general public.
