There are currently no request for proposals for projects with the Prince George Airport Authority (PGAA).

The Prince George Airport Authority (“PGAA”) invites the submission of qualifications and expressions of interest to operate food and beverage, retail or business services concessions at the Prince George Airport (“Airport”).

With the state of businesses in Canada and the need for businesses to diversify and seek multiple revenue streams, the goal of this EOI is to:

  • Support Local – preference will be given to local businesses that provide local product
  • Provide first-class service to passengers, the Prince George community and Airport users;
  • provide innovative food and beverage, retail, and personal and business concepts with broad customer appeal;
  • provide convenient products and services to passengers, Airport users and the Prince George community as a whole
  • optimize concession revenues to the Airport.  

If you are a local business that has demonstrated experience operating comparable businesses, and are interested in opportunities at the Airport, you are invited to complete and submit a response to this Expression of Interest by February 26, 2021 at 3:00 pm. Major Construction Projects

Cargo Warehouse

A 25,000 square foot state of the art cargo warehouse opened its doors in November 2015. The facility is fully rented out at this time.

Rosenau Transport Ltd. is occupying 60% of the space. Rosenau provides much needed road feeder service and can provide cargo container build up and break down. They offer their core trucking services for all potential air cargo shipments and can perform all of the handling in the warehouse for shipments moving in and out of Prince George. The cargo facility provides a secure area to sort and store product.

The facility is being approved as a Canada Customs Bonded facility in order to handle international shipments and provide Customs clearance at the airport. It is located near Boundary Road with access to both Highway’s 97 and 16 and is on the Hazardous Goods Route.

Features include 11 truck dock door and 3 ground level doors and 1 ramp accessible door. There is also access to the aircraft operating area.
