Western Global Airlines Boeing 747-400F Visiting the Prince George Airport for a Technical Fueling Stop

Prince George, BC— This afternoon, a Western Global Airlines Boeing 747-400F aircraft is visiting the Prince George Airport for a technical fueling stop. The cargo plane’s stop is a time-sensitive operation, with no ability to grant airside access to media or visitors.

Prince George Airport is in talks with a number of air carriers for Technical Stops for their flights. “Tech Stops” can involve the provision of fuel, catering, water and other services, but do not include the loading or unloading passengers or cargo.

“This is excellent business for the airport, we are well-equipped to handle it, and we look forward to welcoming more airlines to our facility.” said John Gibson, President and CEO of the airport.
The 747-400F freighter is en route from Sweden to Japan.
