**RELEASED BY THE LHEIDLI T’ENNEH*

Lheidli T’enneh Territory (Prince George, BC) – An art piece designed by Lheidli T’enneh is proudly on display at the Prince George Airport (YXS) to welcome the nation as they arrive in Prince George for the 2015 Canada Winter Games. The 8’x10’ piece features a number of Lheidli T’enneh community members and it can be found in the Arrivals Area of the terminal.

“Lheidli T’enneh is very excited to be able to showcase their community members and help welcome everyone to their Traditional Territory.” said Chief Dominic Frederick.

Prince George Airport Authority President and CEO, John Gibson says “we are beyond thrilled to have the Lheidli T’enneh’s presence at YXS. The Prince George Airport is often the first impression of our city and the more we can share our region’s history and story to travelers, the better. We look forward to working with the Lheidli T’enneh on similar initiatives for years to come.”

“The Lheidli T’enneh community was so inviting and such a joy to work with and photograph. I am so excited to be a part of welcoming the athletes and their families to Prince George for the 2015 Canada Winter Games” says Kathleen Rossel of Kay Ross Photography.

Community Arts Council Executive Director, Wendy Young says “The Arts Council is thrilled to see the addition of the Lheidli T’enneh air piece at our airport welcoming visitors to the region.”
