Central Mountain Air Expands Service Between Prince George & Calgary

Prince George, BC – Northern BC residents will soon be able to fly between Prince George (YXS) and Calgary (YYC) six days a week starting Sunday, July 7, 2013. Central Mountain Air (CMA) has added another day to their existing schedule between the two regions.

“This route has only been operating for a few weeks now, but the response from northern BC residents has been great.  In an effort to increase capacity, we are thrilled to announce service between Prince George and Calgary has been expanded to include Sundays. A big thank you to those who have booked a flight and supported us on this new route” says CMA President Douglas McCrea.

President and CEO of the Prince George Airport Authority John Gibson says, “this is great news for Prince George and the region as the additional day gives business and leisure travelers more options. Flying between the two areas on a Sunday bodes well for the business community looking to start their week with meetings in either city.”

Our thoughts are with those affected by the recent flooding in Alberta. For the most up to date information on your flight to and from YYC, please visit: www.pgairport.ca and www.yyc.com.

On April 26th, Central Mountain Air announced they will be flying non-stop between Prince George and Calgary on a Dash 8, five days a week, starting June 3rd, 2013.
