Two service roads on the grounds of Prince George Airport will be closed until September, effective immediately. Both Altimeter Road and Beacon Road are closed for rehabilitation and repaving.
Neither of these service roads are routes used by passengers or airline staff to the airport terminal or parking, and there is no impact on flights. However, the area is used by joggers and pet walkers who, for safety reasons, are requested to stay away during construction. Once barricades are down and the roads re-open, those users are welcome back.
