Prince George, BC – Live fire training will be taking place at the Prince George Airport (YXS) during the last two weeks of October. Locals are reminded these fires pose no threat to the public or surrounding areas. These fires are held in self-contained training facilities under controlled circumstances and are part of ongoing recurrent fire training and certification. These fires may produce dark smoke in and around the airport area.
