WestJet celebrates 10th Anniversary

Prince George, BC - The Prince George Airport Authority is pleased to recognize WestJet as they celebrate their 10th Anniversary at the Prince George Airport.

Staff will be honored on Monday, March 9, 2009 in the Airport Terminal Building with a plaque for their 10 years of service.

WestJet currently serves Prince George and the region with direct service to Vancouver three times daily. Additionally, WestJet, in conjunction with Transat Holidays, offers seasonal charter service to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. WestJet and Transat Holidays first provided Snow to Sand charter out of Prince George in the winter of 2005.

"For the past 10 years, WestJet has been extremely vital to the success of YXS, our local and regional economy, tourism and the people of Northern BC. We value our ongoing partnership and look forward to the future growth of our relationship", says Mike Davis, Manager of Communications and Business Development.
