The Prince George Airport Authority (PGAA) understands the importance of being involved in our community. To achieve this, an active role has been taken by supporting Prince George’s various community initiatives and charity programs.
The PGAA is committed to cultivating and promoting the Airport's role and image within the community by:
Every summer, the Prince George Airport Authority hosts their annual Golf Tournament open to all stakeholders, associates, partners, and friends. All proceeds from prize draws and other activities conducted at the tournament are donated to various charities. Finally, through Operation Red Nose, Salvation Army Kettle Campaign, and the Festival of Trees, the PGAA continues to give back to the community that serves them.
The Prince George Airport Authority is hosting the 11th Annual Charity Golf Tournament on Saturday, July 13th, 2013 at the Alder Hills Golf Course. Last year over $5,000 was raised for Hope Air which is a national charity that arranges free air travel to those who can not afford to get to medical appointments outside of their community. The Prince George to Vancouver route is the second busiest in all of Canada. All proceeds from the 2013 tournament will once again go to Hope Air. Registration is $60 per person which includes dinner. For more information or to register, please contact Michelle Kenny at 250 963 2407 or email@example.com
We hope to see you all there!
The Prince George Airport Authority is very active in fulfilling donation requests from charitable and non-profit organizations to assist with their fundraising efforts in exchange for promoting YXS at events. The PGAA helps raise thousands of dollars for charities and benefits every year because we feel it is important to give back to the communities in which we serve.
