The PGAA is committed to cultivating and promoting the Airport's role and image within the community by:
Every summer, the Prince George Airport Authority hosts their annual Golf Tournament open to all stakeholders, associates, partners, and friends. All proceeds from prize draws and other activities conducted at the tournament are donated to various charities. Finally, through Operation Red Nose, Salvation Army Kettle Campaign, and the Festival of Trees, the PGAA continues to give back to the community that serves them.
The Prince George Airport Authority is gearing up to host another Charity Golf Tournament taking place July 18th, 2015 at Alder Hills Golf Course. Last year $8,500 was raised for Hope Air which is a national charity that arranges free air travel to those who can not afford to get to medical appointments outside of their community. The Prince George to Vancouver route is the second busiest in all of Canada. A huge thank you to all the sponsors, participants and organizers for putting on such an amazing event. Registration is $60 per person which includes green fees, dinner and lots of run. To register, please contact Michelle: 250 963 2407 mkenny(at)pgairport(dot)ca
