The Prince George Airport Authority (PGAA) understands the importance of being involved in our community. To achieve this, an active role has been taken by supporting Prince George’s various community initiatives and charity programs.
The PGAA is committed to cultivating and promoting the Airport's role and image within the community by:
Every summer, the Prince George Airport Authority hosts their annual Golf Tournament open to all stakeholders, associates, partners, and friends. All proceeds from prize draws and other activities conducted at the tournament are donated to various charities. Finally, through Operation Red Nose, Salvation Army Kettle Campaign, and the Festival of Trees, the PGAA continues to give back to the community that serves them.
The Prince George Airport Authority (PGAA) hosted the 9th Annual Charity Golf Tournament on July 16th, 2011 at the Alder Hills Golf Course. This year event was the largest yet with 108 participants. All proceeds raised from the tournament were donated to Hope Air.
Next year's event is scheduled for July 14, 2012. We hope to see you all there!
The Prince George Airport offers tours to school groups and the general public. Visits last approximately 30 minutes and include a wide range of activities.
